New Year Resolutions

LI connections are you done with your 2020 new year resolution? πŸ€”

You must be surprised 😲 by seeing this post by this time.

As today is neither 31st of December’19 πŸŽ„ not 1st of January’20.

And, must be thinking that a few of them are yet not accomplished or are untouched or a very few are done. (same feeling) πŸ˜”

So, believe me, this is the best time to reframe your goals, you may even track and review your goals accomplished so far.

Why??

Because the year 2019 is yet not ending, and you have enough time of complete 3months, so till now if you were busy doing daily tasks and have not managed your time to invest in your resolution so you may start doing from today, and by this way if not completed so what you would have at least started working your goal, and with consistency you will finish it soon in the early phase of 2020.

And, I believe that start working on your dreams is far better than keep on writing year by year on the resolution list the same thing.

So, what’s the update on your 2019 resolution?

Mine: lots of books πŸ“š are not read yet.
But, I have started writing πŸ“ and it was not part of the resolution. 😁 so, I am delighted.

Work-Life Balance

From childhood, we have been appreciated for doing things fast, That ad of Dettol saying “Tera sabun slow hai kya” hints towards acting and accomplishing things quickly & also nurturing the same in our mind.

With this thought process in mind, when we enter the real world (basically after school/college life) where things are moving fast, we are living in between smart gadgets, our mobile phones are smart & are being smarter day by day with new updates & versions, we may feel the heat of competition everywhere not only with our colleagues or our generation but with our own self too.

It feels like if we are not changing with time, one day we may become obsolete & thus we need to keep on πŸƒ.

But, somewhere inside our mind, we all may want to 🚫 & enjoy life, feel the growth, celebrate & cherish the moments we have accomplished.

What’s your take on it & how you are managing your life?

For me- life is not about πŸƒ towards your goals only but also making ma moments cherishable & a life worth living by managing the time equally for our work-life & our personal life.

Have Patience – Life is simple

My laptop is a bit slow in performance.

Every time I start working on it, it starts hanging and delays the work whether offline or online.

So, I took my laptop to the IT person, told him all the issues I am facing.

He listened calmly and started checking.

In his hands, Laptop was working properly, Gosh!! How is this possible?

He checked patiently all the hardware and software configurations and in the last while handing over the laptop to me he said the million-dollar line: β€œJust click/open one or two files at a time if you will open multiple windows or files it may start hanging.”

That line made me think that is it the same case with our lives too?

Yes, life is not easy, we all are having so many issues in our life but, I think problem is we focus on all of the problems at one time, thus it results in no solution as our life’s system hangs and we become helpless because in life you can’t turn off the system by one long press of power button.

So, learning for the day is, focus on one problem at a time and try to solve them.

And, for choosing problem, just prioritize by making a list of them and pick one at the time and solve them with your 100 % efforts.

Life is not easy but, yes it is simple and let’s keep it simple.
